When Neuls does find the time to chat, louboutin boots, from her converted Victorian rowhouse in East London, she is barely off the plane from "the shows" in Paris and Milan and is shoulders-

deep in samples for the new shop.
But, as clutter goes, one could be surrounded by worse. Neuls’s manolo blahnik shoes are little curiosities, teasing you from every angle. Their heels are like decorative serifs, louboutin shoes, interesting

flourishes that define the silhouette of the shoe. Her rounded toes (and she was doing round toes before they became fashionable again) have a clever dip like a perky private-

school-girl nose. There is embroidery in unexpected places and unexpected details everywhere: tiny leather-covered buttons, mesh ribbon and leathers intricately printed like

dress fabrics. "I’m slightly adventuresome about louboutins," she says. "One of my manufacturers said I design them like clothing — I think of them as independent objects."
Because shoes are normally viewed from above, she says, most designers concern themselves with just the top piece. But "I focus on the 360-degree view." Recently, Neuls began to

affix a rubber stamp to the leather sole of each of her high-heeled shoes, to make walking on London’s unforgiving pavement a little less demanding. "If you look closely, the

stamps feature a detail of a London streetscape, where the new shop will be," she says, smacking of Louboutin, whose soles, famously, are in a distinctive trademark red. "And

there are hand-tacked nails in the toe — they’re Old World shoes."
In more ways than one. When she was commissioned to do her knitwear-footwear, Neuls sourced a network of "grannies" to purl and stitch. "I tracked down a team of knitters up

north," she says. "I guess I could have sourced them in Turkey, but I wanted to use a little bit of England."

christian louboutin WHAT THE CELEBRITIES WILL WEAR

LADIES, consign your Crocs to the cupboard, bin your Birkenstocks and unburden yourself of your Uggs. This year, it’s all about heels. And not just any heels: the only ones to

be seen in are those preceded by adjectives such as ‘vertiginous’, ‘teetering’ and ’skyscraper’.
They have even been dubbed ‘limo heels’   a reference to the fact that they are usually worn by Hollywood starlets who rarely have (or would physically be able) to totter

farther than the few steps that separate their limo from the red carpet.
These heels were never meant for anything as prosaic as walking: they are made to be seen.
But this season, ‘limo heels’ have broken free of the red carpet and are heading for the High Street.
The highest of all   ones that will have your podiatrist in despair&nbsp, louboutin boots;&nbsp, louboutin shoes; are a Louis Vuitton pair with heels that stand a staggering 17cm. That’s nearly seven inches in old money.

And although they’re not available until next month, there’s already a waiting list.
There are plenty of other towering options in this year’s shoe rack, though, with six inches of stiletto on offer from the likes of Gina and Jimmy Choo.
Christian Louboutin, whose red-soled louboutin boots are worn by just about every Alister you can think of, is certainly no slouch when it comes to turning out tottering heels, but the

hottest selling design this year is one of his tallest yet.
At six inches, the Catenita, a peeptoe slingback, may be a smidgen shorter than her Vuitton sister, but she’s still kicking up a storm in the world of the high-maintenance heel.
Rumours that A& E departments are bracing themselves for a spate of twisted ankles may be unfounded, but any woman planning to be on-trend this spring is going to have to suffer

more than a little to be beautiful.

SANTA ANA, Calif. _ Christian Louboutin’s shoes are often a cause for _ or a result of _ celebration.
Attorney Roya Haririan of Villa Park, Calif., bought a light gold pair for her wedding ceremony in May. Art critic and curator Alexx Shaw of Los Angeles wheedled her father into

getting the $6,295 Marie Antoinette manolo blahnik shoes in pink for her upcoming 25th birthday.
The two women were among hundreds who lined up Tuesday to meet Christian Louboutin at his South Coast Plaza boutique in Orange County, Calif.
Before meeting his fans to sign autographs, the French designer talked with me about his background, inspiration and point of view.
Q. You’re here today to officially launch your Marie Antoinette shoe. Why did you decide to bring it here?
A. I wanted to bring something that nobody had seen in America. The Marie Antoinette shoe was just going to be finished when I was coming. It was a good moment to bring a queen

of France.
Q. Where do you find your inspiration?
A. It actually depends. It can come from any conversation. Life is like that. You know, you see a movie. You never knew about the movie. For instance, I saw "Doubt,&quot, louboutin boots; and I

thought that it was an incredible movie. And definitely "Doubt" is so pure in a way. It’s a totally inspiring movie.
Q. I saw that Amy Adams, louboutin shoes, who was in "Doubt," was wearing your shoes at the Oscars.
A. I had to meet Amy Adams. And I was very excited. I had not even seen "Doubt." She’s so wonderful in the movie. But I came later than expected. I had a crazy schedule. So did

she. We’ll do it next time.
Q. Did you see others wearing your louboutins at the Oscars?
A. I saw different people. I did not take care of this personally. I saw Meryl Streep. She was in the hotel just before we went to the ceremony.

christian shoes The brightest ways to strut your s

It’s almost exhilarating to be this tall. And it could be my imagination, but my taller, leggier self seems to be attracting a lot more attention than the regular dumpy version.
Men seem unable to take their eyes off my christian shoes. Schoolchildren stare at me like I’m some exotic zoo creature. One woman actually calls across the street to me: ‘I love your

louboutin boots.’ And a policeman comes up   I kid you not   to ask: ‘Are those Louboutins? They’re my favourites.’ This must be what it feels like to be Elle Macpherson or Erin O’Connor.
Supermarket shopping is a revelation, too. Normally, I struggle if I need something from a top shelf   but in my ‘limo heels’, everything is within reach. If there’s a downside

to these shoes, I’ve yet to stumble across it.
And while I wouldn’t claim they were exactly comfortable, they’re not painful.
The secret lies in a hidden platform under the ball of the foot which minimises the elevation of the hee. It means my foot is in the same position as it would be in a 5in

stiletto. For a seasoned heel aficionado like myself, that’s a walk in the park.
Half-an-hour later, I’m feeling slightly less gung-ho. My toes are starting to go numb from the downward pressure being exerted on them, louboutin shoes, and I’ve had a nasty moment on a cobbled

street that I thought was going to end painfully.
I’m late for a meeting at the office, and the walk back   normally a ten-minute stroll   feels like climbing Everest on stilts.
I see a bus, but running for it is out of the question. In the absence of a limo, I decide to hail a taxi. Forget the potential health hazards of these shoes: it’s my wallet

that they’re going to do serious damage to.
Safely back at my desk, I have time to contemplate the practicalities of these extraordinary shoes. There’s not a lot to weigh up: if you have to spend anything more than 30

minutes at a time on your feet, or regularly walk across anything other than a wrinkle-free carpet, they’re utterly impractical.
But when wearing them makes me feel like a more confident and more attractive version of myself, louboutin boots, frankly, who cares?

LONDON – Fashion journalists can normally count on two things. First, that big-name designers will often be too busy to talk to them; and second, that newcomers will pick up

after the first ring.
But I experienced a reversal of those home truths last month when I was dispatched to interview both Christian Louboutin, louboutin shoes, the distinguished Parisian footwear designer whose

stilettos are cherished by Vogue and the en vogue, and Tracey Neuls, an obscure British Columbia-born footwear designer. Louboutin responded to my first approach. Neuls made me

wait three weeks.
Neuls may have fewer employees (two) than Louboutin has press offices, but she has become a darling here in London, where she runs her TN_29 label. Last season, louboutin boots, the wildly funky

designer John Rocha enlisted her to produce a collection of hand-knit louboutin shoes, which caused a buzz, at least in knitting circles. And Orla Kiely (the A-list casualwear designer

who made patterned Wellington boots popular) has collaborated with her on a line of cheerfully printed manolo blahnik shoes, which featured in Kiely’s summer 2005 catwalk shows.
This season, Wallpaper* and In Style featured her sassy pumps. Next month, Neuls will open her first TN_29 boutique, in London’s deeply cool Marylebone district.
Christian Louboutin may be the hottest designer among the Carrie Bradshaws and Desperate Housewives and European nobility, but Tracey Neuls has London all sewn up.

We’re happy to announce that our sales for second quarter 2003 were $24.3m up 9% from last year’s $22.4m. Earnings for the quarter were 17 cents per diluted share, which includes 3 cents from a favorable ruling in our European Anti-dumping case. This 17 cents represents an increase 143% versus 7% last year and above the first call since consensus estimate of 10 cents. It is important to note that we earned 17 cents on 11.6 million shares versus 9.7 million shares last year. 1.5 million of the 1.9 million share increase relates to the issuance of the preferred stock used by manolo blahnik store. We expect to buy back all of the preferred stock within the next couple of years before it can be converted into common stock and are discussing repurchasing at least some of it this year. For this reason I think our net income performance may be a better indication of the strength of our business during the quarter.
Net income increased more than three fold to approximately $2m compared to $642,louboutin shoes,000.00 a year ago. There’re two other points I’d like to highlight before I turn the microphone over to Scott. The first, is that based on our better than expected profitability during the quarter we made a $2m early repayment of the $14m Peninsula-Sub debt. We currently expect to make additional prepayments prior to the due date.
The second point I’d like to emphasize is that the nature of our business is changing. As a result, christian louboutin, the second half of the year is becoming a more meaningful contributor to our yearly results. Ugg continues to grow and is becoming a major portion of our fourth quarter’s revenue, but also of our third quarter’s. louboutin heel is doing more Fall Clothes Toe Shoe business and more Teva customers are carrying our basic Sport Sandal models year round. To support these seasonality balancing initiative we are bringing in Ugg and Teva Fall products earlier this year and carrying more inventory than we have in the past as we enter third quarter.

We feel that the Simple brand has significant growth opportunity. It has got a very diversified product line, an extended channel for distribution. The core assortment cover all the key price points and categories. It has got a global nature of consumer and capitalizing, really, on the environmental trend, which is really not a fad, and it’s a trend here to stay.
The Simple brand right now has three main product lines — the Green Toe, which is 100% natural material; ecoSNEAKS,louboutin heels, which is much more commercial, also 100% sustainable shoe, mainly on the sneaker side, louboutin shoes; and Planet Walkers, which is more comfortable walking louboutin shoes.
To expand the product offering, we have added the fourth brand. We were looking for a brand that will be noncompeting to our existing brands, and we were very pleased to find TSUBO. TSUBO was started by a UK designer which is based in the US — I mean, the UK. He worked with our CEO in prior years and Reebok, and we brought them in May of this year for about $6 million, plus earnout potential. They’ve done about $10 million last year.
What TSUBO represents is a more hip, comfortable louboutin shoes for the city. We call it the city movement; it’s for the people who live in the city and work in the city. The price point is $70 to about $200. What’s attractive to us, also the retail base is similar to UGG, so we can get some of the benefits of the leverage of the relationship.
We obtained the design team in the UK. We have consolidated all the back office into operation in Santa Barbara and basically we’ll be relaunching the brand from a marketing perspective in fall 2009. Our goal for TSUBO right now is to do $35 million by 2012. So where you are adding all our targets for the four brands, we are looking by 2012 to be a $1 billion company.

We expect this combination of authenticity, great sports marketing and innovative and proprietary products to drive ysl boots’s growth over the next few years. christian louboutin is a leading performance brand in the outdoor market, and we’re excited about our prospects, as we move forward with our mission to be the brand of choice for the new outdoor athletes. We continue to monitor Simples performance, and although Simple did not meet its sales or brand contribution targets for the quarter, we’re encouraged by the reaction to Simples fall line, of athletically inspired styles and we expect growth in the second half of the year. We’re also encouraged by the initial response to Simple spring 2004 mine, which includes a new sandal offering, and a moderately priced Simple growth collection aimed at a younger team demographic. We believe these initiatives will give us the growth we want for Simple. Ugg continues to out perform our expectations 2002 sales increased over 24%, giving us 5 consecutive years of double-digit growth, louboutin shoes, for sales increases of over 20% in each of the last three years. This momentum carried into the first half of this year, we’re continuing editorial and celebrity exposure, help Ugg achieve a 182% increase in year-to-date sales. Reaction to our fall winner 2003 line has been great, in our extended casual offering, has not only helped us expand geographically, chrisitan louboutin heels, but has also helped Ugg become a core third quarter as well as fourth quarter brands. Even in this environment, where retailers are carrying less inventory in ordering closer in season we have received stronger pre-season orders than last year, and our current backlog is larger than it was at this time last year. As the leader in the luxury sheepskin market, we expect 2003 to be another great year of strong sales growth and expanded profitability for our Ugg brand.
